FTTC stands for Fibre to the Cabinet. An FTTC service provides fibre to the local street cabinet with a copper phone line /copper network providing the connectivity from the street cab to the premises.
What does FTTP and FTTH stand for?
FTTP and FTTH stands for Fibre to the Premises and Fibre to the Home. This means that you have fibre optic cables all the way between your broadband service provider and your home or premises providing superfast broadband speeds and reliable connectivity.
What is standard broadband?
Standard broadband typically relates to ADSL technology. ADSL stands for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line and is delivered over copper network.
What is gigabit broadband?
Gigabit broadband typically refers to fibre broadband that is capable of speeds of over 1Gbs.
Is Fullfibrebroadband.com involved in fibre builds and fibre rollout?
We do not install our own fibre we own and operate our own network but connect with Openreach and other providers to deliver the last mile of fibre network to your premises.
Does the checker provide details on future broadband network build plans?
